The Action (2)
The term “action “defines the distance between a string and a fret. String height is measured at the 12th fret and underside the string. We adjust the “action” on every instrument at the factory by setting optimal performance. Sometimes, some guitar players may want to reduce these settings below standards. This is done by changing the strings height, although it may produce “buzz” (produced by the strings vibration against the fret). The “buzz” caused by the reduction of the normal action of the strings is not considered as an instrument defect.
